Last February my novel The Angelic Conflict won second place at the first Project NY Battle. The contestants were prompted to write and polish within thirty days a 20,000- to 30,000-word English, Filipino, or Filish short novel in any genre and POV as long as it included and elaborated the following four elements: a character who writes but only occasionally, a book that is not a storybook but is always being read by one of the characters, a place in the Philippines that would only be visited once in the entire narration, and the theme “Focus on what makes you happy. Live your own life and what makes you come alive.” It was tough, but worth it.
The Angelic Conflict is now available for pre-order. Just fill up this Google form. For more information about the novel, please click the picture on the left.
