a little about me

Jashael_08

Jashaél with broken acoustic guitar

Hello, there. Please imagine me smiling at you, because I really am (shyly, though)!

I’m Jashael (jah’-shel) Bagabaldo. Onstage, I call myself Jashaél (zha-shuh-yel’). Acquaintances call me Jash. Even strangers would probably call me Jash (but I’m not famous enough [yet]); and close friends don’t call me Jash, they call me all sorts of endearing monikers and childhood nicknames, which I refuse to mention here lest you pretend that you’re my friend. I’m kidding. I’m very much a bubbly, friendly introvert (ironic). If you pretend to be my friend, then I’d likely be a [virtual] friend of yours.

I’m known as a Filipino Christian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music and video producer; but I believe my art doesn’t end there. I made this blog to show the world my poetry, prose* and illustrations, paintings, and sketches. (But expect me to promote my music and videos occasionally.) I hope you enjoy them as well.

BLESSED DAY! ♥

*There are some long works that I cannot post, mostly those I wish to publish.

  1. Hey Abigail Jashael, still love the meaning of your name!! Hehe May Yahweh inspire and lead you there in all your ways, may His love ever envelope you. 1 Corinthians 12:
4 Now there are distinctive varieties and distributions of endowments (gifts, extraordinary powers distinguishing certain Christians, due to the power of divine grace operating in their souls by the Holy Spirit) and they vary, but the [Holy] Spirit remains the same.

5 And there are distinctive varieties of service and ministration, but it is the same Lord [Who is served].

6 And there are distinctive varieties of operation [of working to accomplish things], but it is the same God Who inspires and energizes them all in all.
